Plan to survive.™
A conference for small-medium businesses
Overview
Plan to survive.™ will bring together subject matter experts and small-medium business owners/managers to work toward better understanding of the concepts of risk management, business continuity and disaster recovery. This ultimately will help you get started to identify risks, embark on business continuity planning and prepare for eventual disaster situations.
It is not intended for in-depth education. Its intention is to spark ideas to define goals and get started in the planning. However, the follow-up pieces to this conference provide a significant value-added bonus.
A report will be generated from the conference detailing current challenges facing local businesses based on the round-table discussions. This report will address those challenges with research and resource lists for self-help.
Segmented workshops will be scheduled and offered for follow-up to the particular challenge areas (e.g., HR knowledge transfer, customer service, reputation risk, communication). These workshops will provide in-depth education on those particular challenge areas.
